Name:The Nanchang Uprising Historical Exhibition is held at the Victory Memorial Hall of the Crossing of the River.
  Introduction:
On August 1, 1927, the Nanchang Uprising led by the Communist Party of China fired the first shot in armed resistance against the Kuomintang rule, marking a great beginning; on April 23, 1949, the People's Liberation Army crossed the Yangtze River in a strong force to liberate Nanjing, overthrowing the rule of the National Government, marking a moment of victory. Today, the 'Great Beginning' arrives in the city of victory, witnessing the struggle of the Communist Party of China.
On the morning of September 30, the 'Great Beginning - Nanchang Uprising Historical Exhibition' opened in the temporary exhibition hall of the Victory Memorial Hall of the Crossing of the River. The exhibition is divided into five parts: 'Rising in Crisis', 'Great Decision', 'Firing the First Shot', 'Southward to Guangdong', and 'Fighting in Jinggangshan'. About 300 photos present the historical background of the Nanchang Uprising, the decision-making process of the uprising, the course of the uprising battles, and the historical facts of the uprising army's southward campaign to Guangdong, where they faced military setbacks, and the arduous battles led by Zhu De along the Hunan-Guangdong-Jiangxi border, culminating in the victorious meeting with Mao Zedong's Autumn Harvest Uprising troops in April 1928. The exhibition runs from September 30, 2017, to November 5, 2017.
The Nanchang Uprising, with its language of blood and fire, declared the strong determination of the Communist Party of China to resist violence and uphold the revolution. It marked the beginning of the Communist Party of China independently leading revolutionary wars and seizing power through armed struggle, as well as the birth of the people's army. The gunfire of the uprising has long since faded, and the smoke of battle has dissipated, but the 'August 1' military flag that rose over Nanchang still flies high. The 'August 1 Spirit' created by the Communist Party of China during the Nanchang Uprising continues to shine brightly on the journey to build our country into a socialist modern power and achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
