“The future belongs to the youth, and hope is placed on the youth.”In order to vividly tell the story of the Communist Party of China striving for the happiness of the people, the rejuvenation of the nation, and the harmony of the world, in the fruitful autumn of September, the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Hall, in collaboration with the Nanchang Zhushi School Education Group, brought to the students“The First Lesson of the New Semester in the Hero City”. Revisiting history, history guides the direction

In “The First Lesson of the New Semester in the Hero City,” in order to let students understand the process of the creation of the people's army, the instructor played a popular science animation about the Nanchang Uprising. By introducing the animation in a way that students find enjoyable, history is narrated, bringing it closer to them. There was also a quiz segment with simple and understandable questions, combined with the Party's century-long struggle, which fully mobilized the students' enthusiasm. The raised hands of the students at the event were a testament to their thirst for historical knowledge and proof of their understanding of history.
Admiring heroes, heroes shine in the era

In the enthusiastic classroom atmosphere, the instructors from the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Hall also held a themed class meeting, focusing on the theme “Only by admiring heroes can heroes emerge, and only by striving to be heroes can heroes abound,” launching a discussion on “The True Heroes in My Heart.” When hot topics such as Olympic athletes sweating on the field and the successful launch of Shenzhou 12 appeared in the classroom, students not only discussed passionately but also expressed their admiration and respect for contemporary true heroes through their expressions.
Envisioning the future, the future is at our feet

What is a dream? It is “Rest assured, Party, I will contribute to a strong country.” At the end of the course, students took turns to share their visions for the future and express their ideals. Some students said, “I want to be a doctor, I want to be a soldier, I want to be a scientist...” and others said, “I want to be a good teacher.” Everyone spoke freely, sharing their ideals and thoughts on how to become a pillar of the country and society. Only by remembering history can we create the future; only by remembering heroes can we move forward courageously. Understanding history and learning about heroic deeds is the best way to pass on the red gene to the vast youth, and it is our unshirkable responsibility. A strong country has both you and me. Let us work together to realize the dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, and strive forward. I also wish the students new goals, new hopes, new starting points, new appearances, and new progress in the new semester. Study hard and make progress every day!
