In 2018, the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum launched youth research and practice activities, including the original exhibition "Reading for the Rise of China - The Life Exhibition of Zhou Enlai"; creating a "History Classroom"; conducting the themed educational activity "Searching for the August 1st Military Flag"; and establishing a "Little Volunteer Guide Training Class."
Among them, the original exhibition "Reading for the Rise of China - The Life Exhibition of Zhou Enlai" was specially launched for students to commemorate the 120th anniversary of Premier Zhou Enlai's birth. It is divided into four parts: "Aspiration and Exploration," "Hard Struggle," "Dedication," and "Enduring Style." With vivid text and rich images as the main line, supplemented by cultural relics and albums, it allows young students to gain a detailed understanding of Premier Zhou Enlai's life.
The "History Classroom" conducts four major permanent educational projects: "Collection and Fine Product Protection Observation," "Traditional Cultural Festival," "Red Fine Products," and "Interactive Activities," allowing young people to have the space to independently conduct research after visiting and learning, engaging in social education practice.
"Searching for the August 1st Military Flag" is a themed educational activity aimed at youth across the country. This themed educational activity relies on the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum and its five sites, conducting activities such as "Knowledge Competition," "Outdoor Sports Competition," "Red Song Training Competition," and "I Am a Little Soldier," allowing students to gain a detailed understanding of the Nanchang Uprising, engage in patriotic education, and promote revolutionary spirit.
The "Little Guide Training Class" is a collaboration between the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum and various primary and secondary schools in Nanchang. It selects outstanding student representatives and cultivates a group of student volunteer guides through training forms that connect theory with practice, including lectures, seminars, and interactive exchanges. The course content is rich and diverse, including "Basic Mandarin Pronunciation," "Museum Guide Etiquette Training," "Nanchang Uprising," "One Museum and Five Sites," and "Volunteer Work in Museums and Memorials."
