In order to better promote the glorious history of the Nanchang Uprising and to inherit and carry forward the "August 1st Spirit," the Nanchang Uprising Memorial Museum has launched the exhibition "A Great Beginning - The Historical Exhibition of the Nanchang Uprising," based on the content of the "Basic Exhibition of the Nanchang Uprising," which was awarded the "Top Ten Boutique Exhibitions of National Museums." This exhibition fully showcases the birth and development of the people's army, highlighting the history of the people's army under the leadership of the Party in the struggle for national liberation and freedom, invigorating the national spirit and inspiring patriotic enthusiasm, adding glory to the August 1st military flag.
This exhibition is divided into six parts: Rising Up in Crisis, Great Decisions, Firing the First Shot, Marching South to Guangdong, Battling on Jinggangshan, and the Eternal Radiance of the August 1st Spirit. It features over 200 historical images, vividly presenting the glorious history of the Nanchang Uprising firing the first shot, beginning to independently lead the revolutionary war, establishing the people's army, and seizing power by armed means.
The exhibition opened on January 1, 2014, at the Nanchang Uprising Memorial Museum, warmly welcoming the public to visit.
