Wang Rubing, Director of the Longyan Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film, and Television, pointed out at the opening ceremony that revisiting military history and commemorating the 90th anniversary of the founding of the People's Liberation Army of China is to deeply study and implement the series of important speeches by General Secretary Xi Jinping, to learn and promote the heroic spirit and great spirit of the people's soldiers who are not afraid of sacrifice, do not fear strong enemies, fight hard, and forge ahead. Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, we must remember the fundamental purpose of serving the people wholeheartedly, not be afraid of difficulties on the new Long March, faithfully perform our duties, keep pace with the times, innovate, implement the "three major strategies," and win the "three major battles," roll up our sleeves and work hard, reach new heights, build a new Longyan, and strive to achieve the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation!
Xiao Yanyan, Director of the Exhibition and Management Department of the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Hall, spoke at the opening ceremony. She pointed out that under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, the people's army has grown from weak to strong and has become a steel fortress for maintaining national unity, defending national sovereignty, and achieving socialist construction. The history of the Nanchang Uprising has left us not only a brilliant historical chapter but also many historical legacies and spiritual wealth worth learning and inheriting for future generations.
Deng Zecun, Director of the Central Soviet Area (Minxi) History Museum, introduced the exhibition situation at the opening ceremony. This exhibition is divided into six parts: "Rising in Danger," "Great Decisions," "Firing the First Shot," "Southward to Guangdong," "Fighting on Jinggang Mountain," and "Forging the Soul of the Army in Minxi." The exhibition uses 65 panels and over 200 precious historical images to recreate the historical picture of the Communist Party of China not fearing violence, persisting in revolution, and firing the first shot in armed resistance against the reactionary Kuomintang. The entire exhibition clearly reflects that under extremely severe historical circumstances, the Communist Party of China made a clear answer to the two crucial questions of "whether to persist in revolution" and "how to persist in revolution" through the actual action of armed uprising; it also reflects that after Mao Zedong and Zhu De led the Red Fourth Army to fight in Minxi, they proposed the principles of "Party building through thought and military building through politics," forging the party spirit and military spirit, and presenting the splendid scenes of the "Wind Blowing Red Flags Like Paintings" campaign and the glorious history of the formation and development of the Red First Front Army.
The exhibition will run from March 27 to May 27, located in the temporary exhibition hall on the second floor of the museum, and is open to the public free of charge.
