These activities fully utilize the museum's functions in social education, cultural leisure, and tourism.

Innovate services for the audience and enhance the promotion of "5•18 International Museum Day".

On the day of "5•18 International Museum Day", the theme website, Weibo, WeChat official account, and LED display of the August 1st Memorial Hall will continuously play the 2015 Museum Day theme: Museums for a Sustainable Society; all staff will wear uniforms and be on duty to serve the audience with a good spirit.

Innovatively using information technology, the mobile APP and WeChat official account developed by the August 1st Memorial Hall will officially launch on May 18. The museum area has achieved full wireless network coverage, providing the public with a free network environment to download the APP, making it convenient for visitors to understand the dynamic information, cultural relics, exhibition content, and themed activities of the August 1st Memorial Hall. Cartoon guides, bilingual audio self-guided tours, and rich and vivid introductions to cultural relics will provide personalized service experiences for visitors, helping deepen their understanding of the revolutionary history of the August 1st Uprising while keeping up with the times and enhancing the memorial hall's service capabilities. On May 18, the new book "August 1st Memories - Stories Behind Cultural Relics" will be officially released, sharing little-known stories behind the Nanchang Uprising and the latest research findings with the audience.

Carry out themed educational activities to attract visitors to the memorial hall.

In order to cooperate with the theme promotion of "5·18 International Museum Day" and in conjunction with the red resources in the museum, the August 1st Memorial Hall has launched the youth themed educational activity "Revolutionary Spirit Passed Down Through Generations". This activity is divided into six units: "Storytelling", "I Love My Hometown", "Red Ballads", "Charm of August 1st", "Military World", and "Run, Soldiers". It regularly enters classrooms to tell revolutionary stories, conducts team day activities in the museum, pays tribute to revolutionary martyrs, teaches red revolutionary songs, and trains young guides in lively and engaging forms that students enjoy, guiding young people to understand revolutionary history and the heroic deeds of martyrs in a more comprehensive way, cultivating socialist core values, and committing to sustainable social development. This activity officially started on May 8 and recruited 14 young guides from Zhushi Primary School in Nanchang. On "5.18 Museum Day", these trained young guides will officially start their duties to provide explanation services for the audience.

Launch a series of exhibitions to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the victory in the War of Resistance.

To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the victory in the War of Resistance, our museum will launch a series of exhibitions related to the theme of the War of Resistance starting in April. These include an exhibition showcasing the heroic resistance of the Northeast people after the "September 18 Incident" titled "Unyielding Struggle - The History of 14 Years of Anti-Japanese War in Northeast China"; an exhibition comprehensively displaying the indelible contributions of the Chinese people to the victory of the world anti-fascist war titled "Great Contributions - China and the World Anti-Fascist War"; an exhibition focusing on the Eighth Route Army's battles in the Taihang Mountains and their joint bloodshed with the people of the anti-Japanese base areas in North China titled "Eighth Route Army Headquarters in Taihang"; and an exhibition showcasing the thousands of Huangpu military academy graduates who fought bravely in the Anti-Japanese War titled "Huangpu Military Academy and the Anti-Japanese War". These exhibitions will comprehensively showcase the important contributions made by Chinese officers and soldiers and the broad masses of people to the victory of the Chinese Anti-Japanese War, the world anti-fascist war, and the great cause of world peace.
