"Go! Go! Hold on... One, two, three" On the afternoon of December 20, the annual Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Hall Sports Meeting kicked off at the Bayi Hall park.
That afternoon, after finishing the work before closing, the athletes arrived at the competition site for pre-match warm-up preparations. This year, in response to the call for "national fitness," activities such as kicking the shuttlecock and leg-binding races were added to the traditional tug-of-war.

The tug-of-war competition started at 4:30 PM. Over 70 staff members from the entire hall were divided into 4 teams to compete fiercely. The athletes from both sides fought hard, and the audience spontaneously formed a cheerleading team to shout for the athletes on the field. The cheers and shouts echoed throughout the venue, creating an exceptionally intense atmosphere. The tug-of-war rope moved back and forth continuously, and after several rounds of competition, the winner was determined. The winning side celebrated their advancement to the next round with raised fists, while the losing side did not feel discouraged. After the match, every participant still wore a smile, reflecting the spirit of "friendship first, competition second."
Sports are a form of culture, and the spirit of sports is an important part of sports culture, as well as a significant manifestation of the construction of socialist spiritual civilization. This sports meeting inspired the team spirit of all staff members and showcased the unity and proactive spirit of the staff at the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Hall. At the same time, it allowed all staff members to relax and enjoy themselves amidst their busy work, bringing them joy.
