In order to implement the important directives of the 19th National Congress regarding the education of red genes and to fully leverage the positive role of red education in shaping souls and nurturing people, the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum has innovated its social education format. It has collaborated with Changbei No. 2 Primary School to hold a special situational drama performance event titled "Loyal to Faith, Steadfastly Following the Party, and with a Heart for the People, Upholding Our Promises."
In order to implement the important instructions of the 19th National Congress regarding red gene education and to fully leverage the positive role of red education in shaping souls and nurturing people, the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum has innovated social education formats and collaborated with Changbei No. 2 Primary School to carry out a special situational drama performance activity themed "Loyal to Faith, Firmly Follow the Party, and with a Heart for the People, Fulfill Our Vows".
On the morning of September 15th, more than 30 students from Changbei No. 2 Primary School in Nanchang were divided into three groups under the guidance of the narrator. First, the children were familiarized with the red history of the eve of the August 1st Uprising, where Zhou Enlai met He Long at the 20th Army Command, jointly raising the banner of communism and firing the first shot of the Nanchang Uprising. Later, under the careful guidance of their teachers, the students learned the techniques of performing situational dramas, reflecting deeply, and integrating the characters' personalities, gazes, expressions, and actions into their performances.
After two hours of rehearsal, the performance officially began. The students' demeanor suddenly became calm on the podium of the auditorium. Zhou Enlai, He Long... each vivid character came to life. The little "Zhou Enlai" was gentle and generous, the little "He Long" was straightforward and passionate, and the comrades preparing to rise up were filled with a firm belief in following the Party. The call of "I am willing to follow the Party" resounded throughout the auditorium, winning warm applause from the audience.
After the performance, our museum awarded the little actors with three major awards: "Best Performance Award," "Best Vitality Award," and "Best Team Award," and also prepared puzzles of the August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum as commemorative prizes for the students. Through the situational drama performance activity of "Zhou and He Meeting," not only did the students gain valuable experience in stage drama performance with professional guidance, but they also felt the original intention and mission of the Communist Party of China during the performance. Moreover, it cultivated a positive, confident, disciplined, and self-reliant life value in contemporary youth and children, inherited the red gene, and promoted the revolutionary spirit.
