The content of the letter states: "Comrade Huang Dongxian unfortunately sacrificed in the historical feat of resisting U.S. aggression and defending the homeland. Our unit expresses deep condolences and sends Comrade Huang Dongxian's belongings along with the revolutionary soldier's certificate." The date is September 11, 1952.
