Zhu De was a great Marxist, a great proletarian revolutionary, politician, and military strategist, one of the main founders of the People's Liberation Army of China, and a founding father of the People's Republic of China. He was an important member of the first generation of the Party's central leadership collective. To commemorate the 130th anniversary of Comrade Zhu De's birth, our museum has launched "Zhu De on the Red Land," showcasing Zhu De's revolutionary activities in Jiangxi's red land, in memory of his outstanding contributions and noble character.

This exhibition introduces Zhu De's journey from preparing for the Nanchang Uprising to leading the uprising troops to Jinggangshan through five units: being ordered to go to Nanchang, the surging waves in Yuzhang, heading south as a pioneer, fighting in Jinggangshan, and being connected to the red land. It showcases Comrade Zhu De's leadership in the Nanchang Uprising and his great contribution to preserving the spark of the people's army.

The exhibition was held on May 13, 2016, at the former site of the Nanchang Uprising Memorial Hall, warmly welcoming the general public to visit.
