On February 22, the Central Committee issued Document No. 1 titled "Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Doing a Good Job in Key Work for Comprehensive Promotion of Rural Revitalization in 2022." It proposed specific measures such as the joint responsibility of party and government for arable land protection, not blindly demolishing old villages to build new ones, and encouraging local incentives for urban talents to serve rural revitalization. The "Central Document No. 1" has become a term that reflects the importance the Central Committee and the State Council place on the "three rural issues" (agriculture, rural areas, and farmers). Since 2004, it has been issued for 19 consecutive years with a theme focused on the "three rural issues," emphasizing their critical position during the period of socialist modernization in China.

China is a major agricultural country, and the Communist Party of China has always attached great importance to the issues of farmers and land. The fundamental issue of the Chinese revolution is the peasant issue, and the land issue is the primary problem of the peasant issue. As early as the period of the land revolution, the Chinese Communists, represented mainly by Mao Zedong, began to practically engage with and solve the land issues of farmers in the Chinese revolution, gradually finding a correct path to resolve land issues, with various bases showing a prosperous scene of "busy dividing land and fields."

A soldier from the 7th squad of the 1st company of the 43rd regiment of the Red 9th Army wrote in the Zhang family ancestral hall in Dafeng Village, Suichuan County: "Thoroughly divide all the land."

In the revolutionary old areas of Jiangxi, many red slogans from the land revolution period have been preserved. Each red slogan is a record, and every word is a precious historical memory. To this day, although these slogans have weathered nearly a century, they still allow us to feel the passionate revolutionary spirit and the strong atmosphere of the era. We have extracted some slogans about the land revolution, allowing us to perceive the importance of land to farmers and their urgent hope for land division through the recognizable red slogans.

A slogan written by the Red Army in Yude Building, Aoxing Village, Hulei Town, Yongding District: "The land revolution allows the tillers to have their own fields. Workers, farmers, and soldiers unite to fight against the landlords and divide the land."

A slogan written by the propaganda team of the 14th Division of the Red Fifth Army on the wall of the former site of the propaganda team of the Red First Front Army in Chongren: "Farmers rise up to fight against the landlords and divide the land! Farmers rise up to implement land reform!"

A slogan written by soldiers of the Red Fifth Army on the wall of the Liao family ancestral hall in Sanliao Village, Meijiao Town, Xingguo County: "Unite the poor workers and farmers of Sandu and Qibao to rise up and fight against the landlords and divide the land."

Red slogans can be said to be "living fossils" witnessing the historical changes of the Chinese revolution. In Jiangxi, a land full of red memories, looking at these red slogans makes us feel as if we have returned to those tumultuous years, personally experiencing historical events such as land reform that met the farmers' demands for land and the struggle against landlords.
