Introduction:

On July 15, 1927, Wu Yuzhang received a communication from the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and arrived in Jiujiang, where he immediately established a Nationalist Central Office responsible for assisting revolutionary comrades and leftist members of the Kuomintang to go to Nanchang to continue their revolutionary work. Indeed, under his assistance, Comrade Liu Bocheng, along with leftist members of the Kuomintang such as Peng Zemin and Zhang Shushi, arrived in Jiujiang at the end of July, and they subsequently went to Nanchang. After completing his assistance work, Wu Yuzhang also took the last train to Nanchang.

After the success of the Nanchang Uprising, the Central Revolutionary Committee was established, which set up various committees under it, including party affairs, agriculture and industry, propaganda, finance, as well as a staff group, secretariat, general political department, and political security office. Wu Yuzhang served as a member and secretary-general of the Revolutionary Committee and accompanied the uprising troops on their southern expedition.

During the Nanchang Uprising, Comrade Wu Yuzhang always carried his suitcase with him, and he later took it to Ruijin, Yan'an, and Beijing, and continued to use it. After the liberation, his relatives donated this suitcase.
