The Xiang-E-Gan Soviet Area was an important base established by the Communist Party of China during the Land Revolution period. In the early stages of establishing the base, some counties that had set up Soviet power successively established banks and began issuing paper currency. In November 1931, after the establishment of the Xiang-E-Gan Provincial Workers' and Peasants' Bank, the counties stopped issuing paper currency, and the provincial bank began to issue paper currency uniformly.
