Academic Committee Regulations - Chapter Three: Members

Article 7 Membership Conditions Anyone who acknowledges the constitution of this association, is interested in the historical research and promotion of the August 1st Uprising, and fulfills the obligations of this association may become a member after applying and obtaining approval from the Standing Council (or the President's Office). Article 8 Rights and Obligations of Members Rights: 1. Enjoy the right to vote, the right to be elected, and the right to participate in decision-making; 2. Have priority in participating in academic activities, promotional activities, and other events organized by this association; 3. Engage in research projects or artistic creation; 4. Have priority in subscribing to materials edited by this association; 5. Propose suggestions and criticisms regarding the work of this association; 6. Membership is voluntary, and withdrawal from membership is free.

Article 1: This association shall be named the Jiangxi Province August 1st Uprising Research Association. The scope of our association's work includes: 1. Conducting comprehensive and in-depth research on the history of the August First Uprising, and organizing the compilation of academic monographs and papers. 2. Hosting academic seminars and commemorative events related to historical figures and events of the August First Uprising. 3. Supporting members in researching historical materials related to the August First Uprising. For valuable historical materials, we organize collaborations between veteran soldiers and writers to systematize spiritual products. 4. Collaborating with members based on their expertise and talents to produce diverse outcomes. 5. Supporting and encouraging members to utilize their personal strengths to serve the revitalization of the old revolutionary base areas. 6. Organizing social activities for members to promote unity and harmony.

Academic Committee Regulations - Chapter Four: Organization Structure and the Election and Dismissal of Leaders

Article 9 The highest authority of this association is the Member Representative Assembly. The member representatives convene once every five years, and may be held earlier or postponed in special circumstances. The responsibilities of the Member Representative Assembly are: 1. To discuss and approve the constitution; 2. To review and approve the work report and financial report; 3. To elect directors; 4. To decide on the work policies, tasks, or other major matters of the association. Article 10 The Member Representative Assembly shall elect or appoint esteemed Professor Liu Mianyu from Nanchang University and others as honorary presidents or advisors; and elect or appoint several experts with academic achievements or relevant to the association as academic advisors.
