On the morning of November 29, 2016, Ren Meng, a guide from the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum, entered the Honggutan campus of Yuxin Primary School in Nanchang City to deliver a lively and interesting multimedia lesson titled "The August 1st Spirit in the Classroom." Nearly 200 fourth-grade students participated in this lesson in the multifunctional classroom. The guide introduced the outbreak of the August 1st Uprising and its course, shared touching stories about the uprising leaders Zhou Enlai, He Long, and Zhu De, and taught the students to sing the song of the August 1st Uprising, creating a relaxed and joyful atmosphere in the classroom. On October 23, 2016, the 2016 China Nanchang International Military Music Festival Cultural Seminar was held at the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum. The seminar was attended by leaders of 15 military bands from countries including France, Russia, Australia, Thailand, and China, as well as experts on party history and military history from within the province. The representatives engaged in in-depth discussions on the topic of "The Impact of Military Music Culture on Urban Development." Experts pointed out that hosting an international military music festival in Nanchang is of great significance for enhancing the city's visibility, creating a brand effect, and subsequently promoting urban construction and economic development.

On the afternoon of October 25, 2016, a delegation from the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, led by Deputy Minister of the Propaganda Department Meng Chun, visited the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum for a tour and inspection.
