Dai Hejie, Deputy Director of the Party Office of the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum, gave a special party class titled "Discipline is the Lifeline of the Party and the Army - Starting from the Creation of the People's Army" to all party members of the General Office. The party class took the background of the comprehensive strict governance of the party since the 18th National Congress as the entry point, briefly reviewed the glorious history of the Communist Party of China in discipline construction, and focused on three aspects: "Strict discipline is a prerequisite for launching the Nanchang Uprising, a strong guarantee for the uprising army's southward march to Guangdong, and a strong fortress for consolidating the remaining forces of the uprising army to preserve the revolutionary spark," elaborating on the significant measures and far-reaching impact of discipline construction in the early days of the People's Army.
Comrade Wu Xiongjun pointed out in his opening speech that the special party class closely followed the main line of "strict discipline," with a clear theme, profound thoughts, novel historical materials, and vivid language. It has profound enlightening significance for the office to deeply study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourse on discipline construction and to effectively carry out the "Two Studies, One Action" learning education.
