To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Long March of the Red Army and the 67th anniversary of the Young Pioneers, on October 13, 2016, the lower grade teachers and students of Mingyuan Primary School in Nanchang, along with their parents, visited the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum to hold a solemn ceremony for the Young Pioneers.
At 9 a.m., in the foyer of the August 1st Museum, the ceremony officially began with the song "Flag Raising Song." More than 100 students from Mingyuan Primary School stood at attention, singing the "Young Pioneers' Song" in their tender voices, loud and clear. Afterwards, the parents of the students presented red scarves to the new members, who saluted their parents and gave them a happy hug. After the new Young Pioneers completed their oath, they entered the exhibition hall under the guidance of the narrator, receiving a vivid education in patriotism.

During the visit, the students listened attentively to the narration. Their little faces were filled with a thirst for knowledge, and they actively answered some small questions posed by the narrator. At the end of the visit, some students were still eager to learn more, pulling the narrator to ask questions and engage in discussions. Some students expressed their desire to become narrators when they grow up, so that more people would know about the Nanchang Uprising.
