On May 31, 2016, the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum, at the invitation of the Guangzhou Revolutionary History Museum, boldly innovated by stepping out of its province. It fully utilized its rich resources in red culture and military-themed national defense education to bring the themed educational activity "Passing on the Revolutionary Spirit from Generation to Generation" to Guangzhou Bayi Hope Primary School, exploring new paths for national defense education. On the day of the event, the guide from the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum delivered a unique national defense education class to over 200 teachers and students at Guangzhou Bayi Hope Primary School. Before the class began, the guide first introduced herself briefly, telling the students that she came from the place where the military flag was raised, the Hero City.

Zhu De was a great Marxist, a great proletarian revolutionary, politician, and military strategist. He was one of the main founders of the People's Liberation Army and a founding father of the People's Republic of China, as well as an important member of the first generation of the Party's central leadership. To commemorate the 130th anniversary of Comrade Zhu De's birth, our museum is launching "Zhu De on the Red Land," showcasing Zhu De's revolutionary activities in Jiangxi, in order to pay tribute to his outstanding contributions and noble character. This exhibition introduces Zhu De's journey from preparing for the Nanchang Uprising to leading the charge, through five sections: being appointed to go to Nanchang, the surging waves in Yuzhang, heading south as a vanguard, fighting in the Jinggang Mountains, and his deep connection to the red land.

Qingming Festival "Commemorating the Martyrs, Inheriting Virtues" Thematic Education Activity
During the Qingming Festival, the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum organized a themed educational activity titled "Remembering the Martyrs, Inheriting Virtues." University students from Nanchang Institute of Technology and Jiangxi University of Applied Science and Technology, as well as children from Nanchang Broadcasting Green Land Villa Kindergarten, participated in this event. Afterwards, they entered the exhibition hall for a tour led by a guide.

"The Revolutionary Career of Xi Zhongxun"
In mid-March, our museum's engineering "August 1st Lecture Hall" officially started its classes. The lecturer, Huang Haifeng, presented a course titled "The Revolutionary Career of Xi Zhongxun," using a combination of videos and narration to elaborate on three aspects: the major events in Xi Zhongxun's life, the Shaanxi-Gansu revolutionary base, and anecdotes from his life. The course is closely related to the second part of our museum's exhibition, "The Glorious History of the People's Army," and explores the historical materials behind the display boards.

This year marks the 55th anniversary of Chairman Mao's inscription "Learn from Comrade Lei Feng". On the afternoon of March 7, Lin Yanping, a guide at the Nanchang August 1 Uprising Memorial Museum, entered Class 2 (5) of Zhushi Primary School to deliver a lively themed education lesson titled "Learning from Lei Feng, a Good Example: Spreading Love and Positive Energy."
