On May 18, the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum launched a youth-themed educational activity titled "Revolutionary Spirit Passed Down Through Generations," which includes six units: "Stories of Great Figures," "I Love My Hometown," "Red Ballads," "Charming August 1st," "Military World," and "Run, Soldiers!" Today, the themed educational activity officially commenced at Zhushi Primary School in Nanchang, starting with the first lesson of the first unit "Stories of Great Figures"—"The Story of Mao Zedong." Through lively and engaging multimedia teaching methods that appeal to students, the children learned about Comrade Mao Zedong's life and his touching deeds during the revolutionary career, while also learning together with the children.

On March 8, 2015, the Nanchang August 1 Uprising Memorial Museum welcomed 30 left-behind children from the Xinjian District. Their parents are all migrant workers, and they rarely leave their hometown except for school. Today, they were very excited to visit the museum and were curious about the artifacts on display. The guide, Liu Ke, vividly explained the stories behind the artifacts to everyone.

The Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum, as a base for patriotic education, integrates revolutionary traditions into the education of minors. Every year, it recruits "Little Volunteers" from primary and secondary schools across the city and offers training courses for guides during the winter and summer vacations. On December 31, 2014, the last day of the year, Chen Yan, a guide from the August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum, brought the red memories of the Nanchang Uprising to Class 3(1) of Zhushi Primary School. On December 26, 2014, tour guides Zhou Tian and Lin Yanping from the August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum brought caring items to Zhushan Primary School in Sanjiang Town. Most of the children at this school are left-behind children, and they were very happy to see the arrival of the tour guides. Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Hall Training for External Unit Guides
In August 2014, the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum was invited to train guides from brother museums.
