In 2018, the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum thoughtfully created a comprehensive audience participation space called "History Classroom," which integrates teaching, leisure, observation, and experience. It conducts a variety of research and study educational activities, combining different forms such as performances, painting, handicrafts, and parent-child exploration to trace the red memories in the long river of revolutionary history. Through these activities, we aim to help children learn from history, stay true to their original aspirations, and remember their mission! Commemorating the 42nd Anniversary of Premier Zhou Enlai's Passing - Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum Presents the First Lesson of the New Year

On January 9, 2018, Gan Jing, a guide from the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum, entered the Zhushi Campus of the Nanchang Zhushi Education Group to bring the children the first lesson of the New Year - "Red Memory of the Nanchang Uprising." The course mainly focused on the lives of the two main leaders of the uprising, Zhou Enlai and He Long, as well as the stories that occurred during the Nanchang Uprising. Just yesterday marked the 42nd anniversary of Premier Zhou's passing, and the guide showed the students a touching video of the "Ten-Mile Long Street Farewell to the Premier" from that time, which deeply moved the children. At the end of the lesson, the guide taught everyone to sing the August 1st song, creating a very lively atmosphere.

"Study August 1, Praise August 1" Themed Education Activity

On December 21, 2017, our museum visited the Nanchang Normal University Affiliated Experimental Primary School, Dieshan Road Campus, to carry out the themed educational activity "Learning from August 1, Praising August 1." The lecturer, Lin Yanping, provided a unique national defense knowledge education class for 200 third-grade students and teachers. Before the class began, Teacher Lin first organized everyone to watch an exciting video of the grand parade celebrating the victory of the Chinese People's Liberation Army in the War of Resistance. The children were all amazed by the impressive demeanor of the PLA. Subsequently, the lecturer introduced the origins of the military flag, military emblem, and military songs, and divided the 200 students into five groups, representing the Army, Navy, Air Force, Rocket Force, and Strategic Support Force.

The lecturer, Gan Jing, shared with more than 60 fifth-grade students the topic "Quality and Collection Entering the Classroom - The Great Hero Marshal He Long."

Liu Xiaohua, the deputy director of the Display and Preservation Department of the Bayi Museum, delivered a learning report class on "Collection Display Services - Museum Series Standards" for the staff of the Display and Preservation Department and the Community Work Department.

On September 8, 2017, Gan Jing, a guide from the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum, entered the Cotton City Campus of the Zhushi Primary School Education Group to carry out a themed educational activity titled "Obeying the Law and Civilized Travel." She shared knowledge about civilized travel with the children and together they played a small game called "Red Light Stop, Green Light Go" to help everyone understand the importance of following traffic rules.

The training class for adult volunteer guides at the August 1st Museum successfully concluded in 2017.

From August 15 to 18, 2017, the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum held a summer training course for adult volunteer guides. The volunteers participating in the training came from various backgrounds, including guides from the Jiangxi Province Agricultural Commercial Bank's Currency Museum and university students currently enrolled in higher education.

On July 21, 2017, our museum's guide, Gan Jing, entered the Yuchuandao campus of Nanjing Normal University Affiliated Primary School to carry out the themed educational activity "Hand in Hand August 1st Cultural Study Camp," sharing the story of the Nanchang Uprising with the impoverished students, left-behind children, and children from the Nanchang Welfare Institute.
