2015 Major Events in the Museum

From December 31, 2014, to February 3, 2015, in order to further enrich the spiritual and cultural life of the citizens, our museum, in collaboration with the Jinggangshan Revolutionary Museum, launched the "Jinggangshan Spirit" exhibition.
From December 31, 2014 to February 3, 2015, in order to further enrich the spiritual and cultural life of the citizens, our museum, in collaboration with the Jinggangshan Revolutionary Museum, launched the exhibition "Spirit of Jinggangshan."
On January 5, the Community Work Department held a commentary competition - "Memory: The Soul of the Red Army," telling touching stories of revolutionary heroes and the stories behind cultural relics. Through fierce competition, one first prize, two second prizes, and three third prizes were awarded.
The 2015 National Tourism Work Conference was held in Nanchang from January 15 to 16, and Liu Jie, Huang Haifeng, and Liu Ke from the Community Work Department were seconded to participate in the conference work.
On January 28, the Community Work Department visited Class 5(7) of Nanjing Normal University Affiliated Primary School Honggutan Campus to passionately tell "The Story of Mao Zedong."
From February 4 to April 8, our museum, in collaboration with the former site of the Peasant Movement Training Institute and the Pingjin Campaign Memorial Hall, launched the exhibition "Leadership Style, People's Servant, Model of Integrity - A Photo Exhibition on the Integrity of the First Generation of Party and National Leaders."
On February 10, to commemorate the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War and the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japan, Liu Xionggui, a member of the Pingxiang City Artists Association and a red artist, donated his work "A Branch Stands Out Against the Sky - The Sound of Guns in Nanchang" to our museum. Previously, he had donated the Chinese paintings "A Branch Stands Out in a Thousand Miles of Expedition" and "Bamboo Brings Peace."
On February 28, the National Spiritual Civilization Construction Work Commendation and Lei Feng Volunteer Service Conference was held in Beijing, and our museum was awarded the title of "National Civilized Unit" by the Central Spiritual Civilization Construction Guidance Committee.
From February 10 to 13, our museum and Jiangxi Morning Post jointly held a winter vacation training class for young volunteers, training 8 young commentators.
From February 26 to March 4, a training class for commentators was held, with participating units including the Reception Office of Guixi City and the Reception Office of Shangrao City, totaling 16 participants.
On March 25, Zhou Tian from the Community Work Department participated in the training class for the volunteer service activity "I Contribute, I Am Happy."
From March 31 to April 1, our museum invited Yu Yanjun, the Secretary-General of the Memorial Museum Professional Committee of the Chinese Museum Association, to train and teach at our museum.
From March 25 to 27, the National Red Office and Nankai University jointly organized the 2015 National Red Tourism Information Reporting System training and exchange, with over 150 staff members from the reporting system participating from 25 provinces (cities, districts), 18 key red tourism cities, and hundreds of classic red tourism scenic spots. Our museum sent dedicated personnel to participate in this training and received completion certificates.
On March 27, Director Wang Xiaoling attended the 2015 Provincial Cultural Relics Work Conference.
On the morning of March 30, Gong Jianhua, a member of the Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, visited our museum for inspection and guidance. Jiang Xiaobin, Secretary-General of the Nanchang Municipal Party Committee, accompanied him.
At the beginning of the year, our museum adopted Japanese RP bag cultural relic protection technology to achieve comprehensive micro-protection coverage for cultural relics in urgent need of protection.
