On October 19, 2018, the World VR Industry Conference was grandly opened in Nanchang. The conference, themed "VR Makes the World More Wonderful," aims to focus on cutting-edge technologies, explore development paths, showcase the latest achievements, promote application popularization, and build a communication platform to gather essential resources. The conference is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the People's Government of Jiangxi Province, and organized by the China Electronic Information Industry Development Research Institute, the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Nanchang Municipal People's Government, and the Virtual Reality Industry Alliance. It involves industrial and information authorities from more than 20 provinces and cities, as well as over 150 universities and research institutions from more than 20 countries and regions.

The conference is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Jiangxi Provincial People's Government, and organized by the China Electronic Information Industry Development Research Institute, the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Nanchang Municipal People's Government, and the Virtual Reality Industry Alliance. Leaders and representatives from over 20 provincial and municipal industrial and information authorities, more than 150 universities, research institutions, and industry associations from over 20 countries and regions, as well as over 1,000 enterprises in the virtual reality field attended the conference.
According to the arrangements of the conference organizing committee, six guides from the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum, Meng Xin, Zhou Tian, Gan Jing, Huang Ping, Huang Haifeng, and Tu Yun participated in the explanation service reception work for this event and received full recognition from provincial and municipal leaders.
Participating in the first VR conference not only improved the business skills of our museum's guides and broadened their horizons, but also taught them to think more, learn from others, practice more, and be brave in innovation in their future work.
