Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party, General Secretary Xi Jinping has attached great importance to family construction issues, emphasizing that "the future and destiny of families are closely linked to the future and destiny of the country and the nation," and requiring a close integration with the cultivation and promotion of socialist core values, as well as the promotion of traditional family virtues of the Chinese nation. To thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on "focusing on family, family education, and family traditions," the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum and the China Women and Children Museum jointly held the exhibition "Harmony in the Family Brings Prosperity to All - A Theme Exhibition on Family Education and Family Traditions" on the occasion of the New Year.
The exhibition focuses on family traditions, using family teachings and family letters as carriers, and includes three parts: the inheritance of family models, the lasting influence of family traditions, and the new trends of harmony. Through more than 300 images and over 40 family tradition stories, it showcases classic Chinese family teachings and letters, the red family traditions of the older generation of proletarian revolutionaries, and the touching stories of contemporary outstanding Communist Party members, as well as the civilized demeanor of ordinary contemporary families. It promotes correct family ethics and virtues, guides families to cultivate virtue and aspire to goodness, and highlights the educational role of good family traditions in promoting social civilization and progress, guiding people to cultivate and practice socialist core values, and contributing to the great harmony of society.
The exhibition is located on the third floor of the temporary exhibition hall of the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum, and has been open to the public for free since December 25, 2018. We welcome the general public to visit.
