In the warm winter days, the scenery is limitless. The winter study activities at the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum have been newly launched, with "cross-border integration" and "Internet + education" becoming the biggest highlights of this season's activities. Students enjoy a rich cultural feast in the colorful winter study.

"Colorful Intangible Cultural Heritage, Charming August 1" Young Artists Porcelain Painting Achievement Exhibition

As autumn and winter arrive, the study activities at the August 1st Museum incorporate more rich traditional cultural elements. To allow children to enjoy the wonderful collision of red culture and traditional art in the beautiful winter days, and to experience the unique charm of national-level intangible cultural heritage, the August 1st Museum collaborates with the Nanchang Porcelain Painting Research Center to create the "Colorful Intangible Cultural Heritage, Charming August 1" study course, held in the historically significant classroom of the Zhu De Officer Education Group.

The four-phase activities have distinct themes and are closely linked, mainly including: the origin and painting steps of Nanchang porcelain painting, porcelain plate painting "Red Memory" (Part 1), porcelain plate painting "Red Memory" (Part 2), and hand-painted water cups "Impressions of the Hero City". Under the guidance of social education teachers, children experience selecting images for porcelain painting, kneading materials, painting, and firing, beginning to understand and approach intangible cultural heritage. The organic combination of revolutionary historical elements and porcelain painting creation not only promotes traditional culture but also passes on the red gene. After the course, the August 1st Museum's history classroom also held a special exhibition of student works, where participating students carefully introduced their creative stories to visitors: "The painting methods of porcelain painting are completely different from what we usually learn, which is very refreshing." "Painting the red August 1st in the Zhu De Officer Education Group feels particularly meaningful!" Nanchang TV and Jiangxi Education TV reported on this study activity throughout.

The uniquely crafted study activities not only allow students to appreciate the unique charm and cultural connotation of Nanchang porcelain painting, an intangible cultural heritage, but more importantly, cultivate students' feelings of respect for their predecessors and love for their hometown.

Interactive Internet, Smart Study

On November 30, a remote teaching interactive experience class themed "The Power of Faith" was recorded in the history classroom of the Zhu De Officer Education Group. As the first class of the August 1st Museum's remote education series, the museum specially invited Nanchang TV's study education channel, Beijing Chaoxing Group, and the Honggutan Branch of Nanjing University Affiliated Primary School to collaborate in researching and implementing the teaching content. On one side, social education teachers passionately narrated in the memorial's history classroom, while on the other side, students listened attentively in the multimedia classroom, with the cloud platform connecting the memorial and the school, achieving a dialogue between teachers and students across distances through remote teaching.

In class, social education teachers monitored students' learning situations through video, inspiring and encouraging everyone to actively participate, solving problems together in teacher-student interactions; students, through remote live broadcasts, visited revolutionary sites without leaving home and experienced practical puzzles. This innovative internet education model has given the memorial's educational resources the wings of information technology, thus achieving the teaching goal of "bringing the memorial home" and allowing high-quality study courses to benefit more primary and secondary school teachers and students, fully achieving resource sharing and digital education.

Recently, the August 1st Museum also recorded two high-quality study courses in the history classroom of the He Long Command Post—"Visiting Revolutionary Sacred Sites, Listening to Red Stories". Under the guidance of social education teachers, students narrated August 1st stories, read red books, and sent messages to revolutionary predecessors through letters and paper flowers, expressing their patriotism. It is expected that by the end of this year, all high-quality courses will be simultaneously launched on the memorial's official website and WeChat platform, allowing visitors to watch by simply clicking to follow.

In the future, the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum will fully rely on revolutionary cultural relics and red cultural resources, focusing on creating a distinctive "August 1" brand, organically combining red culture promotion, revolutionary traditional education, and study practice activities, continuously expanding the coverage of red culture, and making its due contribution to building a first-class patriotic education demonstration base and a youth study education practice base in the country.
