On December 22, 2016, the Nanchang August 1 Uprising Memorial Hall held a themed educational activity titled "Inheriting the Red Gene - I Am the Best at Handicrafts" in Changfeng Village, Qiaoshe Town, Xinjian District. Currently, Changfeng Primary School has a total of 23 students, all of whom are left-behind children from rural areas. Due to weak educational infrastructure, the quality education in the village primary school faces difficulties such as a lack of materials and activities.

Guides Liu Ke and Gan Jing brought a lively and interesting handicraft class to the students. The guides carefully introduced the essentials of assembly, and the students actively engaged in making their crafts, with the entire class taking place in a joyful and pleasant atmosphere. When they saw their creations - model guns, their innocent faces all lit up with bright smiles. At the end of the class, many learning supplies were also given to them. As we parted, we invited the students to visit the August 1st Museum for on-site learning in the future, and they expressed great excitement and anticipation. We hope this day will come soon, and we also hope that these left-behind children can receive more warmth and help.
