In October 2010, General Fang Zuqi's poetry, calligraphy, and painting exhibition opened in Nanchang. After the exhibition, General Fang donated a beloved calligraphy work titled "Journey Along the Min-Gan Border" to the Nanchang August 1 Uprising Memorial Museum. The poem on this work was also written by General Fang himself, and the full text of the poem is: "Wuyi crosses Min and Gan, streams flow through ten thousand valleys. Mist and clouds roll hazily, layers of forest green and blue. Pool waves cast shadows on the house, fishing and boating on light boats. Birds cry to the morning sun, cattle graze on grassy hills. Peaks float with waterfalls, egrets accompany sandbars. Villages are densely surrounded by silver forests, children play in the water. The fragrance of rice wafts for miles, orange trees adorn the slopes. Yellow earth builds mountain stones, white walls reflect bamboo buildings. At night, the people grow quieter, the sound of insects is soft and dark. Hidden wonders in remote fields, peach gardens welcome guests to roam. Old men recount past stories, listeners strive for self-improvement. Officials discuss achievements, spring breeze brings smiles. The border area has many contributions, accomplishments written in the spring and autumn. The red capital opens new systems, Gutian reforms old plans. Changting's autumn is blood white, Xingguo's stars are dense. The road is rugged, yet now it starts anew." This calligraphy work is 5.3 meters long and 45 centimeters high, with powerful and vigorous characters, exuding grandeur, making it a rare masterpiece.
