The national revolution led by our party aims to fundamentally overthrow capitalist imperialism and domestic warlords, to develop along a non-capitalist path, and to build a free and equal nation. Therefore, the Premier formulated the Three Principles of the People for our party, and to achieve this goal, it is necessary to concentrate all revolutionary forces and awaken the masses to revolution for their own interests, to struggle against imperialist warlords, corrupt officials, and local tyrants. Thus, the Premier also established the three major policies for our party, which are the only bridge to realize the Three Principles of the People. If the three major policies are destroyed, the Three Principles of the People will inevitably become empty talk; this principle is indeed very clear.
Unfortunately, a minority of so-called leaders in our party, driven by greed, are completely unaware of this fundamental theory, leading to a deliberate misinterpretation of the Three Principles of the People and a strong destruction of the three major policies. Previously, there was the betrayal of Chiang Kai-shek, and recently, a part of the minority committee members of the Wuhan Central Party and the National Government have openly violated this principle and engaged in counter-revolutionary actions.
Working with Communist Party comrades in our party is to unite the revolutionary forces within China, which is also a connection to unite the world revolutionary forces. The Communist Party represents the revolutionary party of the proletariat against capitalist imperialism worldwide, with the Third International as its center. Our party relies on the policy of uniting with the Communist Party, which allows the Chinese national revolution to receive support from the great proletariat of the world, preventing it from becoming isolated. Therefore, the Premier resolutely established this policy. Since the actual Communist Party comrades joined our party, their revolutionary efforts have been evident to all. However, a few central committee members recently suddenly announced the severance of relations between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party, resulting in the dispersion of revolutionary forces, indirectly aiding imperialism and warlords. This policy is essentially suicidal. Moreover, the policy of uniting with the Soviet Union and the Communist Party was established by the Premier and passed in both the first and second national congresses. Any changes must go through the decision of the national congress. Now, with the decision of the political conference presidium, the abrupt expulsion of the Communist Party further violates the discipline of our party.
The reasons they used to split from the Communist Party comrades are nothing more than claiming that the peasant and worker movement has gone too far, disrupting the national revolutionary front; yet the peasant and worker movement has always been organized by the Communist Party comrades, so the Communist Party should bear the blame, and our party must immediately sever ties. The so-called peasant and worker movement going too far particularly focuses on the peasant movement in Hunan. Whether the Hunan peasant movement truly went too far is set aside, but the peasant and worker policy was established by the Premier. If the national revolution does not have more than 80% of the population, including peasants and workers, participating, its significance will immediately disappear. Our party has always advocated for the interests of the people; apart from peasants and workers, who else can it represent? Therefore, even if the peasant and worker movement has some immature errors, it is an unavoidable fact in the revolutionary process and a responsibility that our party must bear. Standing from a revolutionary perspective, it should be corrected with goodwill, rather than blaming others or fundamentally altering this policy. However, this time, Xu Kexiang was responsible for the massacre of tens of thousands of comrades and peasant and worker masses in Hunan, and the impact was such that in all areas under the Wuhan National Government, there were brutal massacres of peasants and workers. Such widespread slaughter, even Chiang and Zhang have not done this, is it not going too far! After the incident, the Wuhan government only gave Xu a reprimand, a ridiculous light punishment, and instead rewarded him with a promotion, which is enough to prove that this massacre was indeed the intention of the Wuhan government. What place will this leave the Premier's peasant and worker policy? How can our party blame the Communist Party comrades for the excesses of the peasant and worker movement! Not only that, our party's organization is weak, and the foundation is not solid, leading to the party's power often being usurped by one or two leaders and new-style warlords, using our party's name as a tool for personal power grabs. Chiang Kai-shek initiated this, and there are certainly people who followed suit. Recently, the Wuhan Central has indeed been controlled and utilized by one or two more despicable and corrupt new warlords, acting with impunity. Mrs. Sun even issued a declaration on the current situation, and her residence was surrounded and searched, and the central bank was also robbed. The freedom of speech, assembly, and association is a fundamental right of the people, especially guaranteed by our party. Mrs. Sun, as a central committee member, cannot freely express her opinions; how can others! What a serious issue this is. The warlords are running rampant to this extent; what discipline and authority will the entire party have left! Thinking of this, it is truly impossible not to feel indignant.
In summary, the recent actions of the Wuhan Central have fundamentally destroyed the three major policies, distorted the Three Principles of the People, and the party's discipline and authority have been completely swept away, turning the party's name into a tool for one or two private individuals. Recently, the declarations of Mrs. Sun and Comrade Deng Yanda regarding the current situation are very correct. Our meeting believes that to preserve the revolutionary spirit of the Three Principles of the People today, we must support the realization of the three major policies of this ideology. The prerequisite is to maintain the party's discipline and authority. Since the Wuhan Central has already shown facts of counter-revolutionary actions, it is no different from the Nanjing government. Our meeting cannot condone blind obedience and must treat it with the same means as the Nanjing government, to maintain the authority of our party and preserve the revolutionary orthodoxy, and we will resolutely lead all loyal party members in Jiangxi to fight hard, vowing to achieve this goal! All our comrades should work together on this. Hereby declare.
