At the recent National Spiritual Civilization Construction Work Commendation and Lei Feng Volunteer Service Conference, the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum was awarded the title of "Fourth National Civilized Unit" by the Central Spiritual Civilization Construction Guidance Committee. This is after the August 1st Museum has received honors such as "Civilized Unit of Jiangxi Province", "National First-Class Museum", and "Advanced Collective in National Cultural Work".

In May 2015, the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum, in collaboration with the Nanjing Museum and other institutions, successfully applied for the Ministry of Culture's 2015 National Cultural and Technological Enhancement Program project titled "Research on the Application of Intelligent Deacidification Technology in the Preservation of Whole Books." This marks the first successful application for a national-level horizontal project by the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum.

"Unyielding Struggle - Exhibition on the Historical Facts of the 14-Year War of Resistance in Northeast China"

To solemnly commemorate the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, and to encourage more citizens to visit the memorial hall, understand the history of the resistance, remember the revolutionary martyrs, and promote the spirit of patriotism. In April 2015, the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Hall introduced the exhibition "Unyielding Struggle - The Historical Facts of the 14-Year War of Resistance in Northeast China" from the Northeast Martyrs Memorial Hall.

Researcher Yu Yanjun, Secretary-General of the Memorial Committee of the China Museum Association, gave a lecture at the August 1st Museum.

From March 31 to April 1, 2015, Yu Yanjun, former deputy director of the Memorial Hall of the Chinese People's Anti-Japanese War and currently the secretary-general of the Museum Professional Committee of the China Museum Association, conducted a two-day special lecture at our museum titled "National Memory and the Explanation Work of Museums" and "Make Your Life More Wonderful." At the same time, Researcher Yu Yanjun also provided feedback on the explanations given by our museum's group work interpreters in the exhibition hall and during the competition, which greatly benefited the interpreters and left them with profound insights.

I love my hero city - Micro Love for Left-behind Children

On March 8, 2015, the Nanchang August 1 Uprising Memorial Museum welcomed 30 left-behind children from the Xinjian District. Their parents are all migrant workers, and they rarely leave their hometown except for school. Today, they were very excited to visit the museum and were curious about the artifacts on display. The guide, Liu Ke, vividly explained the stories behind the artifacts to everyone.

The Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Hall held the first training session for tour guides in 2015.

From February 26 to March 4, 2015, the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum held a training course for guides. The training combined theoretical and practical teaching methods, as well as explanation and interactive learning approaches, and assessments that included trial presentations and feedback. Over the course of a week, the participants significantly improved their theoretical knowledge and explanation skills. The training received unanimous praise from the commissioning unit, and the Reception Office of the Shangrao Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government sent a special letter of thanks.

"Little Volunteers, Red Successors" - The winter vacation training class for young volunteers has started!

The Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum, as a base for patriotic education, integrates revolutionary traditions into the education of minors. Every year, it recruits "Little Volunteers" from primary and secondary schools across the city and offers training courses for guides during the winter and summer vacations. During the Spring Festival of 2015, the memorial museum collaborated with Jiangxi Morning Post to hold a winter vacation training class for "Little Volunteers." This program consists of a series of colorful extracurricular activities aimed at minors during the holidays, fostering their awareness of serving society, allowing them to learn about red history and promote red culture in an engaging way. By combining revolutionary traditional education with social practice, it has also enhanced their verbal expression skills.
