Reciting Red Family Letters to Express Revolutionary Sentiments
"Not sparing my head for the new country, willingly pouring my blood for China" "To die now is heavier than Mount Tai."... On June 28, the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum held a themed educational practice activity titled "Remembering the Original Aspiration and Mission - Reciting Red Family Letters." The guide narrated the revolutionary stories of participants in the Nanchang Uprising, such as Li Mingke, He Jinzai, Li Shuo Xun, and Xu Guangda, and recited the heartfelt letters they wrote to their wives, brothers, and comrades. Each touching letter and each unforgettable story conveyed great love and the revolutionary spirit. Through passionate voices and rich emotions, the red family letters were expressed vividly, leading everyone to revisit that magnificent history and deeply feel the loyalty and patriotism of the revolutionary martyrs and Communists. This inspired everyone to strive to be good Party members and good cadres with faith, responsibility, integrity, and sentiment, continuously creating new situations in their work.
As a patriotic education base, the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum must not only be a recipient of the red gene, drawing strength from red family letters, the power of truth, and the power of progress, while staying true to its original aspiration and mission, but also be a disseminator of the red gene. It should fully utilize red resources, tell good red stories, and gather spiritual strength in the new era to fulfill the mission of our generation of Communists.
On-site Party Education Teaching: Dialoguing with History to Remember the Martyrs
As a Party education base for Party members and cadres in the city and an on-site teaching base for cadre education and training in Nanchang, the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum has specially launched a series of on-site Party education teaching sessions titled "Stay True to the Original Aspiration and Keep the Mission in Mind - On-site Party Education Teaching" before July 1st, in conjunction with recent work on style construction and accountability in the province and city. From June 26 to July 1, more than 20 on-site Party education teaching sessions will be held daily.
During the on-site Party education teaching, the guide led the audience into the exhibition hall to dialogue with history. Through the stories of revolutionary predecessors, cultural relics carrying revolutionary history, and vivid images, everyone revisited this history, learned about the development process of the people's army from small to large and from weak to strong, felt the hardships and glory of the Communist Party of China, and understood the responsibilities and commitments of Communists. They also gained a profound experience and understanding of General Secretary Xi Jinping's assertions that "history is the best textbook," "studying Party history and national history is a compulsory course for adhering to and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics and advancing the Party and the country's various undertakings," and "for us Communists, the Chinese revolution is the best nutrient and the best sobering agent," providing a platform for Party members and cadres to strengthen their ideals and beliefs and improve their Party consciousness.
