On the morning of August 10, 2018, Lin Yanping, a guide at the Nanchang Uprising Memorial Museum, entered the "New Era Lecture Hall" in the Railway Jiucun Community of Jingdong Town to deliver a wonderful lecture themed "Never Forget the Original Intention, Keep the Mission in Mind - The Red Flag of August 1" for community party members, cadres, and the public.

In this lecture, the guide combined precious cultural relics in the museum and stories of revolutionary great figures to explain the great history of the Nanchang Uprising in an accessible manner, allowing everyone to deeply appreciate the "glorious suffering" of the Nanchang Uprising and the brilliant journey of the people's army over the past ninety-one years. The atmosphere at the lecture was lively, and community members listened attentively. "I have always wanted to visit the August 1 Museum, but I didn't expect to have such a great explanation right at my doorstep today. When the weather cools down, I will definitely go to the August 1 Museum to take a look..." an elderly man leaning on a cane remarked.

As an important base for patriotic education, the Nanchang Uprising Memorial Museum has always adhered to the concept of "telling the August 1 story well and passing on the red gene," never forgetting its original intention and keeping its mission in mind. It widely carries out red lectures in various places such as government agencies, schools, communities, military camps, rural areas, and enterprises, continuously expanding the coverage of red culture and further enhancing the influence of the memorial museum, allowing the "August 1 spirit" and red gene to enter thousands of households.
