"Hello everyone, welcome to the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum. I am a little volunteer guide, and I am very happy to explain to you." With the arrival of summer vacation, the 34 newly recruited volunteer guides at the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum have arrived as scheduled. Their confident and sunny figures can be seen everywhere in the exhibition hall. Their vivid explanations and enthusiastic service have become a beautiful landscape of the museum this summer.
On August 2, students from the Jiangxi Naval Aviation Experimental Class, young reporters from Jiangxi Morning Post, and students from various primary and secondary schools came to the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum's exhibition building and the former site of He Long's command post to participate in a week-long volunteer guide training course. The training courses included "The Qualities of a Guide," "Mandarin Pronunciation and Skills," "Guiding Etiquette Standards," and "How to Be a Little Volunteer," among other theoretical foundations. To help the volunteers better understand history and participate in activities, interactive experiential courses were arranged, including on-site teaching in a history classroom, learning to sing the "August 1st Uprising Song," commemorating revolutionary martyrs, a handmade puzzle competition, and group exhibition hall practical training. Through personalized teaching and entertaining educational methods, the volunteers' guiding service skills and language expression abilities were quickly improved.

Through vivid story analysis, rich course experiences, and strict training assessments, the volunteers not only gained knowledge beyond textbooks but also truly experienced the precious value of volunteer service. Everyone expressed that this practical activity was very rewarding, and it was an immense honor to tell the August 1st stories and spread red culture to audiences from all over the world in the place where the military flag is raised.
