On May 31, 2016, the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum, at the invitation of the Guangzhou Revolutionary History Museum, boldly innovated by stepping out of the province. It fully utilized its rich resources in red culture and military characteristics for national defense education, bringing the themed educational activity "Passing on the Revolutionary Spirit from Generation to Generation" to Guangzhou Bayi Hope Middle School, exploring new paths for national defense education.

On the day of the event, the guide from the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Museum provided a unique national defense education class for over 200 teachers and students at Guangzhou Bayi Hope Primary School. Before the class, the guide first introduced herself briefly, telling the students that she came from the place where the military flag was raised, the heroic city of Nanchang. 89 years ago, the shocking August 1st Uprising broke out, giving birth to a new type of people's army that serves the people. After 89 years, the people's army has been continuously developing and growing. The guide then introduced the students to knowledge about the military flag and emblem, dividing the 200 students into three groups, each representing the Navy, Army, and Air Force of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. Halfway through the class, the students remained focused on the guide's explanation of national defense knowledge. During the Q&A session, students eagerly raised their hands to answer each question, and they answered correctly every time. At the end of the class, there was a "Military Song Singing" competition, where each group sang the military song of the Chinese People's Liberation Army loudly and confidently. In each activity segment, the guide presented different special small gifts to the students, fully stimulating their enthusiasm.
