On the morning of July 15, 2016, the "Spirit of August 1 Entering Campus" little guide experience training activity was held at the Nanchang August 1 Uprising Memorial Museum. The little guides participating in this training were selected from one hundred outstanding contestants of the "Representing the Hero City, Nanchang City Recruiting One Hundred Little Tour Guides" event. They stood out from 10,204 students after a month-long selection process to represent the hero city. To create a team of "one hundred little tour guides" to promote red culture, the guides at the Nanchang August 1 Uprising Memorial Museum provided the children with vivid and rich experience training courses.

First, the guides conducted a training class for the little tour guides titled "How to Become a Little Guide," explaining the definition of volunteer guides and briefly discussing aspects such as pronunciation, presentation posture and etiquette, and guiding skills. In the class, the guides provided on-site guidance on the etiquette and demeanor required during a presentation, helping the children better understand the basic qualities that a qualified tour guide should possess.

After the class, the one hundred little tour guides, led by the guides, visited the Nanchang August 1 Uprising Memorial Museum, where they listened to the guides' wonderful explanations and watched the panoramic projection "Victory Parade." Every little guide present was very excited and determined to become an excellent tour guide, promoting their hometown—Hero City Nanchang—to tourists from all over the world.

The implementation of this activity greatly stimulated the enthusiasm of the people in the hero city, especially allowing young people to better understand red history, experience its connotations, and sparked a wave of promoting the Spirit of August 1 and inheriting the red gene in Hero City Nanchang.
